From now until June 4, anyone who makes a donation to help communities in a time of need will receive a coupon for a free apple pie. It is available chilled or frozen and includes a mango fruit flavor and is made with cane sugar.Īnd as if that wasn’t enough, they have also revealed that the Popeyes Foundation will be having its first Spring Fundraiser. Then they are battered and breaded in a Southern style coating and deep fried.Īdditionally, Popeyes has added a new Mango Lemonade to the menu, also for a limited time. For those that don’t remember, the wings are made from bone-in chicken wings that have been marinated in a ghost pepper spice blend for 12 hours. Popeyes has announced that Ghost pepper Wings are back for a limited time. GHOST PEPPER WINGS ARE BACK!!! *smooth jazz plays* /TdQLuUPTnf Writer: Im In Su (webtoon), Lee Dae Il (National Security)ĭirector: Park Joon Hwa (Rude Miss Young Ae, Let’s Eat)Ĭast: Taecyeon, Kim So Hyun, Kwon Yool, Kang Ki Young, Kim Sang Ho, David Lee, Lee Do Yeon. You asked. Let the kdrama ghost busting begin.īring It On, Ghost (싸우자 귀신아). Ooh, it’s a fresh step in your midsummer kdrama-watching without the usual tropes. Who Are You, however, is one ghostly drama I’d like to forget – and it also starred Taecyeon. This one is more batty, lighthearted, and awesomely campy as hell. Reality check: Kim So Hyun’s 17, Taecyeon is 27.ĭramas like Oh My Ghostess, The Master’s Sun, and the film Mourning Grave all have ghostly-centered plots. What bugs me is the age difference in the Taecyeon-Kim So Hyun pairing, and I know I’m not alone.Ĭharacter check: Kim Hyun Ji is about 18, Bong Pal, 21. Kim So Hyun and David Lee were both in School 2015, Kim So Hyun most recently in the 3-episode drama special Page Turner with Ji Soo. Taecyeon (Assembly), maybe more known as part of 2PM, has progressed from his super green acting days of Cinderella’s Sister, and Dream High (one of my favorites). Can’t hide Taecyeon’s six-feet-one-of-handsome-brawn under some casual threads. Kwon Yool (Let’s Eat 2) plays Joo Hye Sung, a vet and university professor.Īlthough there’s no believability that a lightweight like Kim So Hyun could hold a candle to Taecyeon’s fully-grown-and-ahem-well-built-man-frame in a throwdown, it’s cute. They are also in dire need of members and funds.Įpisode 1 gives us an intro (and a great cameo from Lee Se Young of SNL Korea, Reply 1988). She’s also the ghost that Bong Pal can’t shake off.Ĭhoi Chun Sang (Kang Ki Young from Please Come Back, Mister and King of High School) and Kim In Rang (David Lee of Mirror Of The Witch) are part of a pitifully 2-member club on campus, Ghost Net, which vlogs their ghost-witnessing adventures. Kim Hyun Ji (Kim So Hyun) is a ghost who can’t remember how she died or anything about her family. Not quite an exorcist with all the rites and hullabaloo, he’s a guy that can see ghosts – and throw a few punches that land on those spirits with unfinished biz. Park Bong Pal (Taecyeon) is a college student who beats up ghosts for cash. Who knew how deliciously awesome it would be to watch boys get spooked by ghosts? And an exorcist team up with one to fight postmortem baddies? Talk about a twist I’m in. With Lucky Romance winding down (the series wraps this week), Oh Hae Young‘s massive plot slowdowns, and Uncontrollably Fond’s tepid start, it’s been some lackluster dog days of late. Shooot, this show is so much fun! Let’s Fight, Ghost aka Bring It On, Ghost (싸우자 귀신아) kicked off this week, and I’m so glad I caught it – it was a breath of fresh air during some waning doldrums of kdrama.
